IV therapy for Albany patients is a physician-supervised IV drip that delivers fluids, vitamins and minerals through a small IV line, given at our medical practice in Clifton Park rather than at a walk-in drip bar.
Albany is the state capital, and many of the patients who come to us from the city work in government, law and healthcare. Long days, early meetings and a full inbox come with the territory. An IV session is one way some of them choose to support hydration and energy without giving up a whole afternoon.
We don’t have an Albany location, and we don’t offer mobile IV service. Every drip happens at our Clifton Park clinic, where a medical team reviews your health history before anything is started.
Five IV Blends, One Short List
Our IV menu is built around five blends. Each one is designed with a different goal in mind, and your provider helps you choose:
- RESTORE — high-dose vitamin C, zinc and B-vitamins, designed to support your immune system during cold and flu season or before a work trip.
- ENERGIZE — B-complex vitamins and amino acids, aimed at fatigue and mental clarity when the calendar is packed.
- RADIANCE — biotin, vitamin C and glutathione, formulated to support skin hydration and a healthy complexion.
- HYDRATE — fluids, electrolytes and anti-nausea support for dehydration, jet lag or bouncing back after a rough night.
- WELLNESS — amino acids and electrolytes to support muscle recovery and ease soreness after training.
Fitting a Drip Into a Capital Workday
A session takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and you stay seated the whole time. Many patients use it as quiet time to answer email, read or simply rest. There is no downtime, so you can head back to the office or home right after.
We’re open until 8pm on weekdays, so an evening appointment on the way home works for a lot of commuters. Weekend slots are available too.
Screening Comes First
IV therapy is a medical treatment, and it isn’t right for everyone. Before your first drip, your provider reviews your health history, current medications and allergies, and checks whether IV therapy is safe for you. If it is, they confirm which formula fits your goals. If it isn’t, they’ll tell you plainly.
Most people feel a brief pinch when the line is placed, similar to a blood draw. Mild tenderness or bruising where the IV went in can happen.
Part of a Wider Wellness Plan
IV therapy is one of our wellness therapies. Some patients book a drip on its own; others make it part of a seasonal routine. It isn’t a substitute for medical care, sleep or a balanced diet, and individual experiences vary.
Driving from Albany: Our clinic is about 19 miles from Albany, roughly 20–25 minutes via I-787 and the I-87 Northway. We’re at 805 NY-146, just off Northway Exit 9. With weekday hours until 8pm and weekend appointments, an IV session fits around work and family.
