The Practice
What makes Clifton Park Medical Aesthetics different from a regular med spa?
We are a physician-owned and physician-led practice — not a franchise or a spa that added a laser room. Every treatment, from a Botox touch-up to BodyTite surgery, is performed or directly supervised by board-certified medical doctors. We also have an on-site surgical suite, which is rare in the Capital Region and means you never need to travel elsewhere for procedures like liposuction, blepharoplasty, or FaceTite.
Where are you located, and do you serve areas outside Clifton Park?
We are located at 805 NY-146, Clifton Park, NY 12065 — a few minutes from Halfmoon, Ballston Spa, Ballston Lake, Malta, Niskayuna, and Schenectady. We see patients from across the Capital Region. Our hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. You can reach us at (518) 491-1765.
Are your treatments safe for all skin tones?
Many of our treatments — including Morpheus8, laser hair removal, and certain skin rejuvenation procedures — are safe for a wide range of skin tones when performed correctly. We use medical-grade devices and physician oversight to select the right settings for your skin type. During your consultation, we will assess your Fitzpatrick skin type and recommend treatments that are appropriate and safe for you specifically.
Booking & Consultations
Is the initial consultation free, and what does it involve?
Yes — consultations are complimentary. During your appointment, one of our physicians will review your goals, assess your skin or body concerns, explain the treatment options that make sense for you, and answer any questions. There is no pressure and no upselling. You leave with a clear plan and the choice is entirely yours.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
That is exactly what the consultation is for. We offer over 25 treatments across face, body, skin, injectables, wellness, and surgery — and the right choice depends on your anatomy, skin type, goals, and budget. Our physicians take a holistic approach rather than recommending the most expensive option. Many patients come in thinking they need one thing and leave with a better, simpler plan.
How much downtime should I expect after treatment?
It depends on the procedure. Injectables like Botox and fillers typically involve no downtime — most patients return to their normal routine the same day. Morpheus8 and laser treatments may cause redness or mild swelling for a few days. Surgical procedures like BodyTite or liposuction require a longer recovery period, which we discuss in detail during your consultation so you can plan ahead. We will always give you a realistic picture before you commit.
Treatments
What is Morpheus8, and is it worth it?
Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency microneedling device that tightens skin and remodels fat by delivering RF energy deep into the tissue. It is one of the most effective non-surgical treatments for skin laxity on the face and body, with results that continue to improve for three to six months after treatment. Whether it is ‘worth it’ depends on your specific concern — our physicians will tell you honestly if a simpler or less expensive treatment would achieve the same result.
What is the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?
Botox relaxes the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles — like forehead lines, crow’s feet, and the lines between your brows. It does not add volume. Dermal fillers restore or add volume to areas that have hollowed or lost structure over time, such as the cheeks, lips, and under-eye area. Many patients benefit from both, used together. Results from Botox typically last three to four months; fillers can last from six months to over a year depending on the product used.
Pricing, Offers & Financing
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. We offer flexible payment plans through Alphaeon Credit, a healthcare financing platform that allows you to split the cost of treatments into manageable monthly payments. Approval is quick and can be done before your appointment. Ask our team for details during your consultation.
Can I combine a Special Offer with financing?
Yes. Offer pricing can be paired with an Alphaeon Credit payment plan, so you pay the discounted price over time rather than all at once. See our Special Offers page for current promotions.
Are Special Offers only for new patients?
No — new and existing patients are both welcome to redeem any current offer, unless a specific offer states otherwise.
Can I use more than one offer at a time?
Offers can’t be combined with each other or with other discounts, but your physician can help you plan which one to use first if you’re interested in several treatments.
