Job Description
Clifton Park Medical Aesthetics is seeking a compassionate, professional, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing medical aesthetics team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about patient care and interested in aesthetic medicine. Previous aesthetic experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
As part of our team, you will work alongside experienced providers delivering a variety of cosmetic and wellness treatments while providing exceptional patient care in a modern, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and obtain medical histories before treatments
- Administer injectable treatments, including Botox®, dermal fillers, Sculptra®, PRP/PRF, and other aesthetic procedures (training provided)
- Start IVs and administer IV vitamin therapy
- Assist physicians and providers during cosmetic procedures
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and post-treatment care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms while ensuring compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and treatment products
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive patient experience
- Participate in consultations and help develop individualized treatment plans
- Support clinic operations and collaborate effectively with the medical and administrative teams
Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable learning new procedures and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, cosmetic medicine, or medical spa
- Experience with Botox®, dermal fillers, PRP/PRF, IV therapy, or laser treatments
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
- Sales and patient consultation experience
